(TFE) sued First National Bank of Commerce in New Orleans (FNBC) to recover $78,754 on checks made by TFE payable to sixteen subcontractor payees and allegedly paid by FNBC to its customer, Gilbert Jacobs, Jr., without the payees' authorization.
