Plaintiff-Appellant Ernest Selam, an enrolled member of The Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation of Oregon, was convicted of molesting two girls following a bench trial in tribal court. Selam appealed his convictions to the Warm Springs Tribal Court of Appeals, contending that he had been denied compulsory process. That appeal was rejected.
