This criminal appeal was filed by the defendant, Daniel William Goff (hereinafter Goff), from an order of the Circuit Court of Jefferson County denying his motion for reconsideration of the court's sentencing order. Goff was sentenced to 15 to 35 years in the penitentiary after a jury conviction for sexual assault in the first degree.
