ROACH, Justice.

We must decide whether Rodney Dwight Melton, who contends he was erroneously informed by his court-appointed trial attorney that he had been captured on videotape committing the charged crime, was denied effective assistance of counsel, resulting in an involuntary guilty plea. Appellant pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery and was sentenced to ten years in prison and fined $1000. On appeal, he complains his plea of guilty was involuntary...
