Alphonse L. Jacquet (hereinafter decedent) died on June 6, 1993, leaving his entire estate to respondent, his college alma mater. On June 21, 1994, decedent's last will and testament, dated April 15, 1983, was admitted to probate without objection and respondent, also named as executor therein, was issued letters testamentary. Some three years later, petitioner, decedent's only surviving child, commenced the instant proceeding to reopen...
