These appeals involve breach of contract and bad faith claims brought against Nationwide Insurance Company ("Nationwide") by one of its policyholders, David B. Nilsen. Nationwide appeals a summary judgment for Nilsen on his breach of contract claim, and Nilsen appeals a summary judgment entered for Nationwide on his bad faith claim. For the reasons discussed below, we affirm the summary judgment for Nationwide on the bad faith claim and we reverse...
