These consolidated tort actions arise from a twovehicle automobile accident which the plaintiffs claim was caused by the negligence of Peter P. Dierker. In response to special questions, a jury composed of fourteen jurors decided that Dierker was not negligent. Judgments were entered for the defendants. The judge denied the plaintiffs' joint motion for judgments notwithstanding the verdict or, in the alternative...
