Following a jury trial, Detravis Ross (Defendant) was convicted on two counts of the class A felony of first degree assault, § 565.050.2,1 and two counts of the class A felony armed criminal action,2 § 571.015. He was found by the trial court to be a prior offender, §§ 558.016 and 557.036.4, and sentenced to thirty years on each count...
