For the reasons assigned in the case of State v. Jones, 96-1581 (La.App. 3 Cir. 6/4/97); 696 So.2d 240, which was consolidated with this case, the adjudication and sentence of the defendant, Charles R. Jones, as an habitual offender are affirmed.
