The State seeks reversal of a trial court ruling granting defendant's motion to suppress. For the following reasons, we reverse.

Rickey Ceasar was arrested on March 12, 1996. The events surrounding that arrest are as follows: Officer Harry O'Neal and several other officers were summoned to the corner of Soniat and Camp Streets to assist in an investigation of an armed robbery.
