Defendant, City of St. Martinville (the City), appeals a judgment by the district court, in favor of plaintiff, Officer Judy Hedgcoth, an employee of defendant's police department, ordering the City to pay a percentage of certain expenses and a portion of her attorney's fees in a tort suit filed by Officer Judy Hedgcoth against a fellow officer, Robert Savoy, and the City.
