Willie Fred Fomby, by and through Sarah Embry, the conservator of his estate, brought this medical malpractice action, claiming that the defendant, Dr. Bernard Pearson, had rendered negligent emergency room treatment and that that negligent treatment had caused Fomby to suffer severe injuries.
