Anousone Soukharith was convicted by a jury of first degree murder, kidnapping, robbery, and the use of a weapon to commit a felony. The district court for Sarpy County sentenced Soukharith to concurrent sentences of life in prison for murder and kidnapping, a concurrent term of 20 to 40 years' imprisonment for the robbery, and 10 to 20 years' imprisonment on the use of a weapon conviction, to be served consecutively.
