Alice Jean Smith ("Smith") slipped and fell on an icy sidewalk outside of Hook Drugs, Inc. ("Hook's"). Smith was an employee of Hook's at the time of her fall. She and her husband, Richard Smith, filed a complaint against Standard Life Insurance Company of Indiana ("Standard Life"), the owner and lessor of the premises.
