A jury in the underlying action found Le Terra, Inc. liable to appellants M.B. and Mi.B. for compensatory and punitive damages. Le Terra's insurer, respondent American Family Mutual Insurance Company, then brought this action against Le Terra, M.B., Mi.B., et al., seeking a declaratory judgment that the "expected injury" exclusion in its policy applied to Le Terra's conduct.
