The defendant, Pharoah Palmer, was charged by bill of information # 02-96-0152 with two counts of forgery, violations of La. R.S. 14:72. He pled guilty to both counts and was sentenced to three years at hard labor on each count, with the sentences to run consecutively. He moved for reconsideration of sentence, but the motion was denied.

At the same time the defendant entered his guilty pleas to the two counts of forgery, he also...
