Plaintiffs, Constance and Stephen Ruperd, appeal the jury's finding defendant, Dr. Robert A. Ryan, not guilty of medical malpractice pertaining to Constance Ruperd's (Connie's) foot surgery. On appeal, the plaintiffs contend that the trial court erred in not granting their motion for a directed verdict at the close of the plaintiffs' evidence.
