On the application of the State of Louisiana we grant certiorari in order to consider the validity of the trial court's granting of defendant's motion to suppress evidence. Defendant is charged with being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm in violation of R.S. 14:95.1. The police found defendant in possession of a .38 caliber revolver while they were executing a search warrant. Defendant contends that the police misrepresented the facts...
