Ilse Schulz retained Emily Sherwinter to represent her in a divorce action. Apparently unhappy with the result of that case, Schulz later sued Sherwinter for legal malpractice, alleging Sherwinter failed to provide her with information relevant to the case and then settled the case without authority and against her interests.
