This case involves an appeal by the State of the trial court's suppression of field sobriety tests conducted by a deputy sheriff on the defendant, Alvin Wayne Pickett. Pickett was arrested and charged by trial information with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, second offense, in violation of Iowa Code section 321J.2 (1995).
