FERREN, Associate Judge:

Ashrafunessa Begum appeals from a trial court order dismissing her claim after a default judgment had been entered in her favor. Begum argues that the trial court incorrectly granted Syed Auvongazeb's1 motion to dismiss for lack of jurisdiction and that the default judgment therefore must be reinstated. We agree with Begum and reverse.
