Kathleen Kariotis was discharged from her position as an executive assistant at Navistar after the company decided she had fraudulently accepted disability benefits following her knee replacement surgery. Kariotis filed suit in federal court claiming violations of the ADA, ADEA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, and the Illinois Health Insurance Claim Filing Act.
