Continental Insurance Company (Continental) brought this declaratory judgment action to determine the amount of underinsured motorist (UIM) coverage afforded to its insured, Aubrey Courtney Shives, Jr., for injuries sustained when Shives was hit by a vehicle while operating a bicycle.
