Defendant, Ronald Hollis, appeals his conviction of attempted possession of cocaine. We affirm for the following reasons.

The defendant was charged by bill of information with a violation of La. R.S. 40:979:967C. Following a jury trial, he was found guilty of attempted possession of 9.2 ounces of cocaine and sentenced to five years at hard labor.
