The plaintiff, Rosemary Ackal Myers, filed this suit to recover damages for injuries sustained in an automobile accident, which occurred in Iberia Parish, Louisiana, on August 9, 1991. A vehicle driven by William J. Broussard, one of the defendants, struck her vehicle, thereby causing the accident and her injuries. Ms. Myers named State Farm Mutual Insurance Company (State Farm) as a defendant both in its capacity...
