The defendant, who is the victim's stepfather, appeals from convictions of rape of a child (G. L. c. 265, § 23) and indecent assault and battery on a child under the age of fourteen (G. L. c. 265, § 13B). There was evidence that he had intercourse with the victim repeatedly from the time she was seven or eight years old until she was close to eleven in January, 1992.
