TOMLJANOVICH, Justice.

Defendant Leonard Allen Grecinger, Sr., was convicted of attempted murder in the second degree and assault in the third degree and was sentenced to 153 months in prison. The court of appeals affirmed this conviction. We must determine whether expert testimony on battered woman syndrome is admissible in the prosecution's case-in-chief against an alleged batterer.
