William Hane appeals from an adverse jury verdict and the trial court's1 denial of his post-trial motions in his personal injury action under the Federal Employees' Liability Act ("FELA"). 45 U.S.C. §§ 51 et seq. We affirm.

I. BACKGROUND

Hane worked for the National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak) as a steward. His duties included stocking dining cars. Supplies were sometimes loaded...
