This appeal arises out of a three-vehicle accident which occurred on August 8, 1990, when a vehicle driven by the defendant Rogasiano Garcia travelled through a red light and collided with a bus owned by the third-party defendant New York City Transit Authority (hereinafter the NYCTA) and operated by the third-party defendant Conrad Williams.
