MAKILYN J. KELLY, Presiding Judge.

Defendant pleaded guilty to desertion and abandonment. M.C.L. § 750.161; M.S.A. § 28.358. He admitted that he failed to provide support for his minor child, Christine, from January 1, 1990 through July 27, 1992. The trial court sentenced defendant to two to three years' imprisonment and ordered him to pay restitution in the amount of $89,083.91 plus interest.
