Plaintiff Carl Chauncey sued defendant JDR Recovery Corporation alleging violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (15 U.S.C. §§ 1692-1692o) ("FDCPA"). The defendant is a professional debt collection agency and wrote plaintiff on December 10, 1994, a letter seeking to collect a $1,541.28 debt allegedly owed to Bridgestone/Firestone. On December 8 of the following year, plaintiff sued defendant alleging two violations...
