This is a direct appeal by the defendant, Robert Aikins, from his convictions of aggravated robbery and felony murder. Aikins was sentenced to life in prison for felony murder and given a concurrent sentence of 206 months in prison for the aggravated robbery conviction. Aikins and a co-participant, Sheldon K. Nash, were both age 18 when the crimes occurred. Aikins and Nash were tried together. Nash's appeal...
