This case arose out of an allegedly unpaid bar tab at the Top of the Crown restaurant at the Clarion Hotel ("the Clarion").1 The plaintiffs in this case, Roger Garza and Joseph Simon, were exhibitors at a firefighters' convention in Cincinnati.
