HUSPENI, Judge.

Respondent police officer sued appellant city, his employer, claiming that he was entitled to uninsured motorist coverage under the city's self-insured policy. In response to the parties' cross-motions for summary judgment on the coverage issue, the district court ruled that respondent was entitled to coverage. Appellant challenges the summary judgment, arguing that there is no statutory basis for extending coverage to respondent...
