The principal issue in this case is whether it was improper for the trial court to grant the application of the plaintiff, Clairol, Inc. (Clairol), to vacate an arbitration award in favor of the defendant, Enertrac Corporation (Enertrac), pursuant to General Statutes § 52-418 (a) (3).1 The application was granted on the basis of a finding that Clairol had been denied a full and fair hearing before the arbitration panel....
