Francis H. Dupre brought this age discrimination action against Fru-Con Engineering Incorporated and Fru-Con Construction Corporation (collectively Fru-Con) under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, 29 U.S.C. §§ 621-634 (1994), and the Missouri Human Rights Act, Mo.Rev. Stat. §§ 213.010-213.137 (1994). The case proceeded to trial, the jury returned a verdict in favor of Fru-Con, and the District Court
