TASHIMA, Circuit Judge:

Alvin L. Gilcrist entered a guilty plea to a charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1). Gilcrist was sentenced to 77 months, to be served consecutively to an undischarged state term.

Gilcrist challenges his sentence on two grounds. First, he takes issue with the district court's computation of his criminal history category under the Guidelines. He argues that two of four prior convictions...
