Steve Brigham sued his employer, Dillon Companies, Inc., (Dillons) alleging that he was wrongfully demoted in retaliation for claiming workers compensation benefits. Concluding that Kansas courts do not recognize a cause of action for wrongful demotion, the district court entered summary judgment in favor of Dillons.
