The state appeals from a pretrial ruling of the Summit County Court of Common Pleas finding the state to be collaterally estopped from presenting certain evidence. We reverse.

On October 23, 1992, two pedestrians standing by the roadside were struck by a car and killed. After a trial by jury, Lawrence Zanders was convicted of two counts of involuntary manslaughter in violation of R.C. 2903.04...
