Defendant Michael Morrison appeals his convictions, after a jury trial, of possession of a controlled substance, a third degree felony, in violation of Utah Code Ann. § 58-37-8 (1996), and possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person, a third degree felony, in violation of Utah Code Ann. § 76-10-503 (1995).
