This action stems from Defendants' 1992 treasure-hunting activities in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (the Keys Sanctuary). In Case Number 92-10027-CIV-DAVIS, the United States alleges that the Defendants illegally destroyed seagrass in the Keys Sanctuary and removed artifacts. The government seeks damages and an injunction under the Marine Protection, Research and Sanctuaries...
