Sixteen-year-old Tausha Rene Wooten shot a gun into Shaylee Hansen's car after Hansen threatened to kill Wooten during a fight. The bullet killed Shawnte Stringer, who was Hansen's cousin and a passenger in the car. Wooten was charged as an adult without a declination hearing under RCW 13.04.030(1)(e)(iv) with one count of first degree murder and one count of second degree felony murder for Stringer's death.
