The defendant, Kerry Ledet, appeals a conviction for second degree murder.

On February 14, 1995, the defendant entered the Fruit of the Loom plant in Abbeville to speak with Elaine Leday. Ms. Leday, his estranged girlfriend, worked at the plant.
