This case involves a lessor's attempt to recover damages for lessees' claimed breach of a contract regarding a five-year lease of commercial property in Las Vegas, Nevada. In July 1993, R. Thomas Merrill contracted to purchase commercial real estate located at 2875 Industrial Road, Las Vegas, Nevada, for the sum of $635,000.00.
