Appellant-defendant Fast Eddie's d/b/a Hyway Tavern, Inc., (Fast Eddie's) appeals the trial court's denial of its motions for summary judgment on a complaint filed by the plaintiff-appellee Judy Hall, as executor of the estate of Teresa Hall (Estate). Teresa Hall died after one of Fast Eddie's patrons shot and killed her. On appeal, Fast Eddie's argues that it did not owe Hall a common law duty to protect her from another patron's unexpected...
