The Florida Bar petitions this Court to consider amendments to rules 4-7.2 and 4-7.5 of the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar. We have jurisdiction pursuant to article V, section 15 of the Florida Constitution.

Both of the proposed rule amendments involve the regulation of legal advertising. Rule 4-7.2 permits lawyers to advertise their services through public media. The proposed amendment expands the list of information...
