Appellant was convicted of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute it, in violation of D.C.Code § 33-541(a)(1) (1993). On appeal he contends that certain remarks made by the prosecutor in his opening statement were improper, in that they were inflammatory and referred to facts that could not be introduced into evidence.
