MEMORANDUM

DAVIS, District Judge.

Petitioner Joseph R. Johnson, a Maryland prison inmate, has filed the instant petition for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254, seeking relief from his 1988 conviction for daytime housebreaking, based on his guilty plea, in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. For the reasons set forth below, the petition is denied.
