Plaintiff Baldwin Properties, Inc. ("Baldwin") appeals from an order by the Circuit Court of Clay County, Missouri, granting summary judgment to Defendant Frank W. Sharp, Jr. ("Sharp"). Baldwin is in the business of building homes. In July, 1993, Sharp, a licensed Professional Engineer, inspected one of Baldwin's newly-built homes for Judy and Rande Kessler (the "Kesslers").
