This case comes before the court on an appeal by the plaintiff, Susan Kenyon (Kenyon), from a judgment entered in the Superior Court in favor of the defendant, the town of Westerly (town), and on the cross-appeal of that town from that portion of the judgment in favor of the plaintiff.
